Logos.

The simple definition of a logo is a Graphic Image, symbol or emblem created for a commercial purpose.
Angel Eyez Photography was born in between class projects, homework and in the middle of falling in love with photography.
My name was chosen from one of many I scribbled on folder paper while talking on the phone, other runners up included
Angelic Visions and real winners like Eye See or i c.
My logo was actually inspired by a J-lo flick called Angel Eyes.
If you haven't seen it, watch it. It's not that bad. Don't let J-lo fool you.

Everything around us changes. Just today I watched Andy go off to college. I cried my eyes out.

So, while I love my original logo, and it has served me well for 5 years.
Change is upon us.
And so I unveil the new look of AEP.
Why the Z in Eyez? Honestly because Angel Eyes was already taken.
A few times.
And anyone who knows me knows, that putting letters where they don't belong
just because it appeals to me, is something I'd do.
Often.
After all it's the way I see it.

Hapai Halloween

Hapai Halloween!
Happy Halloween!
Hapai means with child, in Hawaiian.

And a Happy Halloween it is.

For Mrs. Z and soon to be baby "K".

One little- two little- three little pumpkins- four little- five little- six little pumpkins.

Hope your Halloween's as sweet as a brand new baby.

Mommy to be: Mrs. Z

Any day now baby K will make his debut in the world.
All mommy has to show for the last nine months are a few bruised ribs.
And these photos :)
But don't worry that'll change soon, she'll have you.
And everything will be worth it.

While it's hard to get WA weather to cooperate.
After waiting and waiting rescheduling and waiting.
We found a break in the rain.
Though we almost blew away.

Lions park in Bremerton.

All baby. Gonna be a big boy ;)

Mommy's day dreaming about holding you in her arms.

Where you'll be safe no matter what.

Thanks Mrs. Z for such a great shoot.
Thanks Baby for not jumping the gun.
And we'll all see you soon.

Love.

Part one of two.

Another Adventure

Another day out exploring the beauty of Washington.

 The John Wayne Marina.
We only stopped here because...
its the JOHN WAYNE Marina!

 I just loved this.

Really, really, really tall tree. And a toddler for comparison.

 I shot a deer! It's deer season isn't it?
And a picture is a far less gross thing to hang on my wall, then its head.

The Salmon Cascades in the Sol Duc River.

 Rialto beach.
See those rocks jutting out of the water in the distance?
Yeah I did to. So I HAD to walk all the way over there.
HAD too.
My feet still hurt.

 Hole in the wall.

 The littlest Opihi.

 Nature frames itself.

Same ocean. Thousands of miles from home.

  I did not stack these.

The sun has set, and this blog is done.
More pictures then words today.
The beauty speaks for itself.
