Hana

Shot at Waimea Valley, Kawailoa Ranch, Haleiwa Elementary  and Mokuleia using my 85mm lens for the first time on my first free Saturday in forever...shooting my favorite sister, wait...she's my only sister.

Hana.

She was trying to jump to the branch and grab a nut. Silly models leave the foliage alone.

So much brooding for a 10 year old.

 Tree hugger.

Same hat she wore for our very first photo shoot. 5 years ago.

Almost all growed-up. The time went where?

Trying to capture the true Hana. Nose stuck in a book.
P.S. She's Team Edward.

She was getting mad because I wanted her to look at me and she was trying to read the book.

I don't know about you, but I'm betting on Alice.

That's all for this post. It's been brought to my attention that not a lot of pictures make it thru the editing process. I took almost 400 shots. Over 50 of those made it into Lightroom. 40 of them made it out of Lightroom alive after I narrowed down the best shots. and then 20ish of them made it to the blog for your viewing pleasure.  Not every note Mozart jotted down became a symphony. Plus I doubt you'd want to stick around to see 10 of what may appear to you to be the same frame. There's a method to the madness.

Expect another blog in the next few days (Knock on wood) time permitting.
Until then Thanks for tuning in.

 Piece. Out.

P.S.S. I'm Team Jasper. <3

  2. Great pictures! My kids are always buried in books too, I can so totally imagine her annoyance at actually having to LOOK at you as opposed to just reading her book already.
