The Olympic National Park

and the work of my new18-200mm lens ;)

You ever had one of those days, where everything you saw nearly took your breath away?
Yeah it was one of those days.

Madison Falls at the Olympic National Park.
I spent hours and hours there and barely covered more then 10 miles of the park. Next time, I want to see rain forests, glaciers and hot springs. Yes. All in the same park.
(It's pretty much the whole corner of Northern Washington)

Remember to always travel in numbers. Especially when you plan on being overtly dangerous.

There are too many shots of "just" a waterfall.
I was trying to be a little different.
Though I took plenty "just" waterfall shots too ;)

There was moss everywhere.
It twisted around the trees like the red on a candy cane.
It hung down from their branches. It grew on their trunks.
This moss, was dancing.

I stood behind this man while he stood behind a woman.
As I took his picture he painted hers.

Sometimes,
you know you'll never be able to do justice with your camera
to what your eyes are seeing.

You know those moments, where you know if you slip, trip or even slightly stumble and fall that's it. You're done. There's no getting up.
You don't?
Then you probably weren't standing on a crumbly cliff's edge with your foot under a root trying to get this shot from 300ft up.

A day filled with awe.
noun
an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, fear, etc., produced by that which is grand, sublime, extremely powerful
verb (used with object)
to inspire with awe

wonder, veneration.

And finally. A pony.

Piece. Out.
