Last week I woke up before the sun had risen. Not to photograph the amazing sunrise or the light on the ocean. But to capture the looks of excitement, triumph, exhaustion and jubilation of the runners participating in the great aloha run. (And I was getting paid, always a plus when I have to wake up before dawn). Working with Marathon Foto, I used their cameras and flashes, their CF cards. So I had to lift these images to give you a peak.
Good times as always. Met a lot of cool people. If anyone wants to send me a copy of their pictures from the GAR that I took, it would be much appreciated. Especially if you're the 3 adorable toddlers I snapped in their running gear.
